Bio

Jill Newby is a professor at the University of New South Wales School of Psychology, an NHMRC Emerging Leader and Clinical Psychologist at the Black Dog Institute. Her current research interests are:

  • technology-based interventions for depression and anxiety (including internet/e-mental health interventions)
  • cognitive behavioural therapy and mindfulness-based interventions
  • health anxiety and cyberchondria
  • anxiety disorders and specific phobias
  • virtual reality exposure therapy
